The Loop has an iconic dining scene, with renowned restaurants like Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, Giordano’s, Wildberry Pancakes & Cafe, and The Berghoff Restaurant. The Chicago Riverwalk provides a serene escape for those looking for greenery amidst the towering skyscrapers. Housing options range from sleek high-rise condos to historic lofts, all within walking distance of the neighborhood’s amenities.

The loop has incredible architecture including our building which survived the Chicago fire in 1871. Our favorite spots include visiting our neighbors over at Mindworks and Chicago Athletic Associations second floor work room.

Whether you’re catching a Broadway show in the Theatre District or strolling through Millennium Park and along the beautiful Riverwalk, the city’s pulse is unmatched here.
For the West Loop and The Loop areas, I recommend checking out Lone Wolf and Moneygun for nightlife. If you are looking for great dining, Sunda and Beatrix are two of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood.
For a fresh perspective on the Loop, bypass the heavy tourist crowds and spend an afternoon exploring the hidden architectural gem of the Chicago Cultural Center, home to the world’s largest Tiffany stained-glass dome. Afterward, grab a quiet coffee and head to the standard-defying, elevated walkway of the Nichols Bridgeway for a stunning, frame-worthy view of the skyline cutting into Millennium Park. It is the perfect reminder of why even long-time locals shouldn’t take downtown for granted.
There’s a lot of great views when leaving the bean, between the architecture and city sculptures, our skyline is truly unmatched. We also have a lot of seasonal specific attractions such as the ice skating rink during winter.

The Loop is one of the most beautiful and diverse areas in downtown Chicago. It represents the heart of the city with busy corporate workers, entrepreneurs, students, locals, and tourists all coming together. It is the center of Chicago’s economy and is filled with businesses both small and large, amazing places to eat, and some of the city’s most iconic buildings. And of course, there is the Sears Tower. Yes, we still call it that!
