“I love to visit the stretch of bars and restaurants on Jackson Street between 23rd Ave and MLK! In the morning, you can visit Simply Soulful, a soul-food restaurant founded in 2014 that moved to its current location in 2022. You can also grab a quick bite and coffee at Temple Pastries or Broadcast Coffee. They have some of the best croissants I’ve ever had! Then for lunch you can check out Jackson’s Catfish Corner which has been an institution in the area since 1985. Across from them is Seattle Fish Guys, a seafood counter and Poke joint.
