Chicago Home Prices Rising, Homes Selling at Fastest Pace in Two Years
Chicago home prices rose 6.1 percent in May, to $285,000, a slowdown from rapid appreciation earlier in the year. Inventory was at its highest level in more than two years, which is giving buyers more leverage, but homes are selling at the fastest pace in almost two years.
