Each March tens of thousands of tech fans descend on Austin for the SXSW Interactive Festival (SXSW). Sessions at this annual conference explore a host of topics from cutting-edge technologies like 3D printing to disruptive start-ups like AirBnB. SXSW is unique not just for the thought-provoking presentations, but also because the community plays a big part in shaping the festival’s agenda. In fact, anyone can submit a session idea or vote on their favorite proposal.
This year Redfin submitted a panel proposal titled The Next $50B Business Won’t be a Website. This session proposal features our very own Glenn Kelman, who will describe how “hybrid businesses” –those that offer both online AND real-world products and services — will be the future of commerce. Love technology and believe in our vision? Here is how you can help get our session selected for the 2014 SXSW Interactive Festival.
