Geoff Bennett was an absolute professional. He called when he said he would and met with us toward the end of the inspection to go over the results. First he oriented us to the house. This was a multiple wing 5,178 sf home. Geoff made it easy to understand where he was taking the photos and made sure we knew where he had been in the home and how he would refer to each location. He showed us the highlights in a great iPad photo presentation and went over the highlights and was not bothered by questions. This was a guide to what would need to be done after a move in, from the biggest problems to the smallest "honey do" problems. We will be referring to this inspection for what we need to accomplish for the next two years. The final inspection report was very well organized, color coded and filled with very informative photos. We were able to use this inspection report to save ourselves literally thousands of dollars in concessions by the sellers. I highly recommend Geoff and Bennett Home Inspections.

The inspector said he would call after the inspection. He did not. I called and left a message asking him to return my call. He did not. He did an inspection outside of the routine inspection that I had indicated before hand that I did not want. He then proceeded to charge me for it. He said there were heating and cooling vents upstairs. There were none. He failed to notice stained ceiling tiles indicative of a leak. Other issues were also missed. In general I do not feel he did a careful job of the inspection and was unwilling to communicate with me. I was not present during the inspection as was not allowed to be due to Covid.
