My wife and I were extremely lucky to have Sara in charge of our loan from Bank of America. As first-time home buyers, especially in the aggressive house market of the bay area, I don't think we could have done it without her and her team (Osvaldo). It is a completely different experience when your Lending team is local and knew how the Bay Area market worked. From the get-go we were stunned by Sara's rapid turn around time and know-how. Despite us starting our search during the holidays, she got us a pre-approval in hours of asking! Later on, when we finally put an offer on a home, Sara helped us close on the loan FASTER than we could even mentally process that we were buying a house! It took 8 days. That might be a record on its own. She was there every step of the way and helped ease our troubles, and gave us a lot of helpful tips for us first-timers. The customer service from Sara's team is professional and superb. We are the first-time home buyer in the United States. Sara is the best lending officer I've ever met. Sara (with her team) was very patient and the team responded customers' request promptly. When we started searching homes in the bay area online, we got Sara's contact via recommendations by a buyer agent. Sara gave us detailed guidance for our pre-approval letter. We prepared required documents and got the pre-approval letter within 2 days. In this step, Sara's team will help check credit scores and it will accelerate the home mortgage application process. Please note that this step from Sara's team is very helpful because it can lock the mortgage rate within 3 months. It definitely saves money for me as the rate greatly increases after receiving the letter. One week later, we submitted the first offer to an open house located in Pleasanton and the seller accepted our offer in one day. After my family transferred a deposit check to a title company, the clock of home loan application started (10/1/2018). Sara's assistant contacted us for further documents including the latest pay stubs, bank statements and stock statements. On October 2, I was notified to visit the BoA office and sign some documents. The team updated the process (or further required docs) with me almost every day. One October 15, the application process was approved and transferred to the title company for closing the offer. Overall, the whole application process is very smooth and the guidance is very clear. It is my understanding that if your application materials satisfy requirements from the BoA, the process would be very smooth and nothing goes wrong. Our experiences for this purchase: 1) the rate was as expected; 2) the closing cost is lower than expected (we even got some credits from Sara's team); 3) closing on time; 4) simple and efficient application process.

We had just started looking for houses and were not expecting to put in offers atleast 2-3 months into the search. The very first open house that we went to we were in absolute love with the house, me and my wife knew that this is it but we were not pre-approved. This is when Sara stepped in. We spoke to her on Friday.. she got us pre-approved and underwritten by Tuesday.. we put in an offer on Thursday.. got the house on Friday.. closed the loan within 15 days. I know it is extremely rare to go from being non-approved to a home owner within a span of a week, it would not have been possible without Sara & her team.
