Not sure if it was the title company itself that is responsible for the electronic documents system (Qualia) but this is a horrible system. Feels like I'm risking my security/identity with a company I never heard of, using a number of insecure processes to enter very personal information (SSN, banking info, etc) into an overall poorly designed web interface. I never received a call from the company introducing me to who they are, asking permission or notifying me regarding the use of this system, or giving me other options to complete the closing process. I also got no calls or communications to inform me of what would happen/what to expect next (aside from the very generic "Step 2: Gathering Documents" status that it hung in for 26ish days and the "documents available" emails that didn't specify whether they were needing action by me), until right when something was needed for me and I was expected to respond basically immediately. Good thing I was around at 5:45 on a Friday night to authorize the notary appointment that had to be found the next day (because why would I have weekend plans?!) or else risk delaying the final closing date by about a month due to my business travel needs. Overall, no thanks!
