We bought a new-construction home with Pulte, and what should have been a fairly straightforward process somehow turned into a months-long exercise in discovering new and creative ways for a home purchase to become complicated. Through all of it, Aaron was solid. He was responsive, candid with us, and never disappeared when things got difficult. When the appraisal came in well below our contract price, financing got messy, and we started having increasingly serious disagreements with Pulte, Aaron stayed engaged and helped us work through our options. He never tried to minimize problems just to keep the transaction moving, and I always felt like I could call him, ask a direct question, and get a direct answer. I also appreciated that he understood when to give advice and when to let us make the decision. There were several points where we had to decide how hard we wanted to push, what risks we were willing to take, and whether we were still willing to buy the house at all. Aaron gave us his perspective without trying to steer us toward whatever outcome was easiest for everyone else. In the end, despite Pulte’s best efforts, we closed on the house. I’m very glad Aaron was our agent through the process, and I’d absolutely work with him again. If you’re considering buying real estate in this economy, having your own agent who is actually willing to stay involved when things stop going according to the sales brochure is worth it.
