Since we were new to San Ramon, Dublin and Pleasanton, Amy worked proactively with us to show the different homes in the tri valley so we could an idea of the local places. Based on our family situation with kids and work she advised us on available options to choose from matching our budget. We were doing all this remotely from another country, she managed and coordinated the closing too with the escrow and also all the Handyman work follow up with the seller agent. She is absolutely on top of everything to ensure our requirements to own a home, were met exceedingly.

Amy Alvarez assisted us in selling our home in Antioch, CA. Amy’s ample knowledge in real estate made the process quick and easy. Amy is responsive and made sure to explain the entire process to us.
Amy was recommended to me by my mortgage broker, who is a hard one to please. And she didn't disappoint. Selling a house can be stressful, especially for someone working full-time. I never had to chase Amy down. She has an amazing work ethic and was quick to follow up with me, answering all my questions during the entire process. Her knowledge of the industry is both wide and deep. She navigated--and anticipated--many of the pitfalls of the housing market with calm and patience. She had a vision of how best to sell my house, but also listened to my ideas and concerns. She contracted with great people who were reliable and did outstanding work. We received an offer only four days after we listed and it was over asking. Amy is the most dedicated and insightful real estate agent, and I... Show More

Amy is an excellent realtor and we could not recommend more. She more than proved her capabilities during our long home sale saga (6 months in the Bay Area … crazy right?) with multiple hurdles, a market shift, and several unsavory characters. This was one of the most difficult times we have faced as a family. Navigating multiple jobs amongst ourselves as a couple, paying two mortgages, having extensive repairs and upgrades done to the house while caring for our one year old child was difficult and the city did not make things easy for us one bit. Amy was kind and understanding throughout our whole home selling process, communicated with the city on our behalf as well as many other people along the way that were not exactly professional. We had quite a few setbacks with this whole thing... Show More

We feel so fortunate that it was Amy Alvarez who answered our online "connect with an agent" inquiry. It was a nerve wracking experience to start, to know who to reach out to with hundreds of agents to choose from, but Amy's first voicemail was so welcoming and personable, that I called her back the next day and we had a great conversation; she made sure to find out what we were looking for and told me about her process and commitment to be available. She was indeed very available and responsive, by phone, text, and email, all critical in a situation with so many moving parts. It was our first home purchase, so we had a lot of questions, and she had a lot of answers. She always had advice to offer, but also left us space and encouraged us to make our own decisions that felt right to us.... Show More

Amy was always available, prompt and reliable! She was a true pleasure to work with and I would 100% recommend her!
Amy blew me away the first time I spoke with her because she truly listened. She answered all my questions before I even had to ask. Amy was always available and prompt. I’ve really enjoyed working with her and would 100% recommend her for all your needs!
She found the hidden gem that we were seeking. We had specific requests, a good school district, some space, and a fixer-upper. She had a relationship with another agent that allowed us to see the property before it went on the market. There we other bidders in a seller's market, but Amy helped us get the property!
Working with Amy was so easy. She was always available to answer any questions I had and she made selling my late fathers house smooth and quick. She generated so much demand we received over 40 offers and I am positive we got the best deal.

Lessons Learned from a First-Time Home Buyer: Buying a home, especially for a first-time home buyer, is not only a matter of great joy, but without the right individuals working with you, helping you, guiding you, it can be quite daunting, scary, confusing and potentially very stressful. The mounds of paperwork alone can easily become overwhelming. Sure, many processes are automated and now online to help streamline some of the administrivia, but without experienced guidance, a first-time home buyer would be lost – as I was. That was lesson number 1 for me. Lesson number 2 was insight into what so many companies are advertising as Customer Experience. I learned it is not only a motto, a corporate philosophy, or automated processes, but starts with the people and how they treat others.... Show More
