About Bill
I grew up building houses with my Dad starting at age 12 and I’ve been building houses and fixing up houses my whole life. We built homes from top to bottom and did everything but dig the hole for the basement. My dad always made sure we did excellent work and it was a joy to build beautiful, solid, high-quality homes for families in Bay City Michigan. When my 2 boys came along we built our family a Log Home, that was my favorite project. More recently I’ve been helping friends and family fix up their old homes as their lives changed and their families grow, fixing up houses and making them really nice is one of my favorite things to do!
I also spent 30 years as a Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Project Management for StageRight Corporation a best in class manufacturer designing, building and installing portable furnishings for the sports, education, and performing arts markets. I learned how to best position, market and sell a product, and also learned to listen in order to understand my customers needs. I also learned strong negotiation skills, and how to manage a complex project from beginning to successful completion.
Now I am fulfilling my life-long dream of living Up North combining my passions for Homes, sales & marketing, and service in order to help you to sell or buy a home here in beautiful Northern Michigan!
Based out of my home in Charlevoix I work with buyers and sellers and I cover from Higgins Lake to the Mackinac Bridge. This business model has worked well, especially with buyers from downstate or out-of-state. Many buyers don’t initially have a particular preference for which river, lake, or UpNorth community they want to be near. Once we start working together as partners it’s one stop shopping for you as I will cover anywhere you want to go. Once we find your ideal property, I will write the offer, negotiate the best terms and pricing for you, and then manage the transaction from beginning to a successful closing. As your listing agent, I will expertly and professionally market and sell your home in order to get the maximum return on your valuable investment. I will solve problems along the way, and make the process easy and enjoyable for you. I am a single point of contact for everything you need regarding property from Higgins Lake to the Mackinac Bridge!
