Bita is a very experienced, professional, attentive and knowledgeable agent. She knows the Livermore market very well. The transaction ran smoothly. The best real estate agent I have ever worked with on a home sale. Very detailed oriented and had the best strategy for selling my house. My neighbors across the street also used Redfin, but that agent didn't have very good strategies on managing the bids compared to Bita. My home sold for 240K more than the house across the street and my improvements were not worth $240K compared to the other home.

The entire selling process was not well-planned. We were not informed of any expected tasks until the very last minute. For example, we had no idea when to hire mover to move our stuffs until there was less one week from closing. That made packing and moving extremely difficult. Given our busy schedule, that gave us literally less than 3 hours of sleep every day for almost a week. What an awful experience to say the least. And her only reaction was "Oh my god, Oh my god!" It also seemed to us that Bita was representing buyers not us. She never told us what to respond/counter buyers' request. Bita is great- knowledgeable in All aspects of purchasing a home and very caring and thorough. Redfin however is an issue, especially with open houses because Redfin requires that their buyer agents show any home being sold by a redfin agent and the buyer agents are not there to help sell your house. Beware of the open house experience with Redfin- buyer agents showing your house are hunting for clients and do not put in effort to highlight your house during the open houses. During our open house, Redfin buyer agents were talking about Redfin not our house.

While she completed the necessary paperwork and performed the essential duties of a real estate agent, I felt that, overall, she did not do her job. For example, when multiple offers for my place came in, instead of staging a bidding war to try to get the highest price, like we had discussed in the beginning, she simply asked me what she wanted me to do with the offers that came in, without giving me any recommendations. So in response, I told her to go back to the people who made first offer and see if they could beat the second offer. Then she asked me if I wanted to disclose the second offer amount to the first set of people. I was stunned. I thought it would be common sense to disclose the amount. We got what we were looking for with Redfin. Bita was direct and to the point. There wasn't as much hand holding as there is with a traditional agent, but we had bought and sold before, so that wasn't an issue for us.

She's extremely knowledgeable about the market, was always available when I had a question, and was very helpful when it came time to review all of the offers. Plus, in the end I was able to sell at my "dream price" due to all of her hard work. When we had some issues with the seller/seller's agent during escrow, Bita had my back and was able to smooth everything out which I very much appreciated. Bita was a fantastic through this process! She was actively engaged during the entire sales cycle, with strong focus on the results we were after. There were some 'issues' with our first deal, but Bita was on top of it, and got us back on track quickly with a new (and final deal)!
Also, we were in a huge rush to move out, and were not able to complete everything we intended (for the new owners)...Bita and her team actively supported us, helping to coordinate repairs and other logistics. Not part of her normal 'services' I'm sure...but, she even helped personally with paint touch-ups!! Super awesome...

Initially, I was skeptical of working with Redfin. I figured I meet the agent and decide later. Bita showed up on time, very professional with her laptop. After a warm introduction, Bita started with a PowerPoint presentation, I was very impressed with the depth of information.
We signed the listing agreement, and the process was very inviting. Bita took charge and arranged everything, even our furniture to make the house look even better! Drone photos of the house? Yes, please!
You want an expert with a vast network? Bita is on top of her game. We received multiple offers within a week and closed soon after. I would work with Bita again.

I had been contemplating going with Redfin for a few transactions now (mainly due to discounted commissions). I can't be happier with the results well beyond discounted commissions. Redfin has always been very professional and honest with reaslistic and useful feedback. So my experience with Redfin says GO WITH REDFIN! She came to see our house and suggested a few cosmetic changes and provided person to implement them. She personally monitored the final touches and made sure that they are up to her highest satisfaction. Bita was very nice throughout the whole selling process and was able to finish it as smoothly as possible. She was VERY responsive, anytime we called she answered right away or she would text us with updates. As we know, nobody is perfect, so she too had some flaws. The posting of the house had some technical problems that instantly added 2 weeks to the DOM which looked terrible. But Bita and her team fixed the issue quickly. I also think she could have been better at pricing our house.
