As a first time homebuyer you expect the agent to guide and assist you through this home-buying process. He was supposed to help me avoid potential pitfalls, and in the end, hand me the keys to my new home. I expected the agent to have my interests and to back me whenever possible. Well I have to tell you that it wasn't like that at all. I expected even more because Daryl was the president of his company. You would never expect somebody who is in charge of others to make the type of mistakes he made with me. In the second offer he sent in he had put that we would be responsible for 100% of the taxes and recordation fees. Well I was not comfortable with my husband signing that. Since, as a first time homebuyer we shouldn't have benn responsible for paying any of that by Maryland Law. So... Show More

I am a first time home buyer and also inexperienced in the DC market but Daryl made me feel comfortable and excited about my new home.
