Derrick was an absolute dream to work with. Between January and the end of March, he took us to see 38 houses (some of which were repeats) and helped us better understand what we were looking for. We initially entered the process thinking we’d find a place we’d love for a couple of years, but we instead found our forever home. Derrick paid attention to what we liked and didn’t like and worked with us to comb through inventory during the busy season, and when my partner had an emergency appendectomy, Derrick worked with me to keep looking at houses to make sure we could stick to our original timeline. Derrick is an experienced professional with detailed knowledge and understanding of the local real estate market. We gave Derrick our $1.4 million listing after meeting him at open house where we observed how he interacted with prospective buyers and followed up with some helpful off market information prior to being given our listing. I've been involved with numerous luxury home sales over the years but this was my first with a Redfin agent. The Redfin business model uses a very efficient team approach to assist their agents throughout the selling process that results in an effortless closing. Redfin is certainly an excellent value compared to more expensive boutique real estate firms and is highly recommended.
