Ebony Onyemu

My Husband and myself were introduced to Ebony Onyemu & Redfin, by Rocket Mortgage, we wanted to be out of the city and away from the Airport. We originally contacted Rocket Mortgage after a long day of looking for homes for sale in the Coldspring area as my Husband has always wanted to live in Coldspring for over 20 yrs but work kept him closer to the airport, when we met with Ebony she was confident and added an exciting feel to the air, she was very familiar with the area we were looking in, but the real kick was our first meeting was about selling our home and what was needed to complete the sale with all steps included, Ebony told us it would not be an issue at all to sell our home and that it should go very quickly, I let her know we had a trip planned and may not be able to respond to emails or text or calls , that was something she told us not to worry about, that we had her and to enjoy our trip, when we went on vacation, She was there for us and let us know along the way all that was happening, we had multiple showing going on daily for our home, it was exciting to see all the showings happening, and there was an offer put in while we were out of town , Ebony was able to reach us and continue the process until we returned and at that point almost all was done and our home was under contract before 2 weeks was up after being placed on the market. After we spoke about all details on the sell of our home at our first meeting, I walked her through our home and showed her all the things I really loved about our home I told her really what I wanted her to do was just lift up our home and move it to Coldspring if all possible, of course that is not possible, so she is very good at listening to all request as to what we were looking for , Ebony set up a day for us that worked for all to go and look at some homes in Coldspring, she sent us emails listing the addresses for all , we talked beforehand so she could give us some highlights on all , We did let her know that there was one we liked the best but as you all know you must look first , on the day we went out to look Ebony was on time and knew exactly where she was and could take us around easily to all addresses also when we arrived at one home , she even said herself , I don't think this one is it, and she was right for sure, but when it come to the last house that day , the home we looked at checked all boxes that we told her were a no or a must, and actually gave us more than we asked for , I had fun with her as well when we were looking over the possibilities of what we could do with this property , she pulled up an app or something like GPT it and gave us idea's that were perfect! there is one area on the property that would look really good with outdoor lighting and can be set up as a cozy and relaxing area to visit outdoors, I really wanted to put in the pic she showed us but hubby through it out due to too close to the neighbor lol, Ebony from the very first phone call , the entire process was made so easy and stress-free. Ebony was exceptional. She was very attentive, listened carefully to what we wanted and was extremely thorough with every detail. Anytime we had a question or needed assistance, she responded immediately and made sure we understood everything along the way, she showed us the Redfin app which provided a clear tracker showing each step that needed to be completed and what we had already accomplished, as well as what was next We truly felt taken care of from beginning to end, Ebony's professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness, and genuine care made such a difference, We highly recommend Ebony and Redfin to anyone looking for a realtor and a smooth home-buying experience! We first met Ebony about a year ago when my husband and I were filled with excitement and hope, ready to buy our first home or at least, we thought we were. What we will always remember most is that Ebony never stopped believing in us even when we had to pause our dream. Her patience, her steady encouragement, her commitment, and the genuine care she showed our family never wavered, not even for a moment. What started as a dream that felt delayed and uncertain turned into one of the most meaningful milestones of our lives. And having Ebony guide us through it made all the difference. She didn’t just help us buy a home she helped us hold onto hope until it became reality. We are beyond grateful that she was our Realtor, but somewhere along this journey, she became so much more than that she became a trusted friend for life.
