Ebony Onyemu

We first met Ebony about a year ago when my husband and I were filled with excitement and hope, ready to buy our first home or at least, we thought we were. When we realized the timing just wasn’t right and we weren’t quite able to move forward, that excitement quickly turned into disappointment. We had to step back and put our dream of homeownership on hold, unsure of when we’d be able to try again. But even in that pause, Ebony never let us feel forgotten. Throughout that entire year, she stayed connected with us checking in, encouraging us, and reminding us that our dream was still within reach. She never treated us like “just another client.” She treated us like people she truly cared about. So when the time finally came to try again, she reached out with a video of a new construction home in a brand-new community and gently said, “You should take a look at this.” We did… and something just felt different this time. We decided to try again and this time, we got approved! From that moment forward, everything started to fall into place, and Ebony was right there through every single step. As first-time homebuyers, we were overwhelmed, nervous, and constantly full of questions. But she never made us feel like a burden. She was always just a phone call away talking us through every concern, breaking things down when we didn’t understand, calming our fears when things felt stressful, and consistently checking in to make sure we were okay and that everything was moving smoothly. What we will always remember most is that Ebony never stopped believing in us even when we had to pause our dream. Her patience, her steady encouragement, her commitment, and the genuine care she showed our family never wavered, not even for a moment. What started as a dream that felt delayed and uncertain turned into one of the most meaningful milestones of our lives. And having Ebony guide us through it made all the difference. She didn’t just help us buy a home she helped us hold onto hope until it became reality. We are beyond grateful that she was our Realtor, but somewhere along this journey, she became so much more than that she became a trusted friend for life.
