Emily has lived and worked all over the world: from upstate New York to D.C., then to India, Israel, and finally, Germany, before settling in Vermont. Emily now lives in Colchester where she enjoys living the lake life with her husband, their two children, and a multitude of pets. Emily loves helping clients build wealth through real estate, whether that's finding the perfect family home, selling a rental property, or even exploring short- or medium-term rental options. As a former attorney, Emily uses her understanding of contracts (and bureaucracy) to help her clients navigate the home buying and selling process. She also works with her husband to renovate and rehab homes to give them a second life and owns a short-term rental to host guests visiting Vermont. Emily Schneider was the reason we are in our dream home. She dropped all plans and showed us the house on a weekend. She was able to use her legal background and contract knowledge to write an offer that was fair and insightful securing an acceptance without debate. Emily made the entire process painless as we were buying out of state which can be tricky. She took care of issues before we even knew we had them. She found contractors to conquer the list of tasks required prior to closing. We would highly recommend Emily Schneider as a realtor.
