Janet was my agent during my search for a home in and around Norman, Oklahoma. She is an experienced and professional realtor who does this line of work as a full-time job, not as a part-time hobby. She listened to my requirements for a house and wasn't pushy. Some realtors want buyers to quickly find a house so they can collect their commission and move onto the next buyer. Janet was nothing like this. We found a new house in Noble. The builder and their agent were generally difficult to work with (e.g., disorganized, procrastinate, stubborn). But Janet was an advocate on my behalf the entire time. I enjoyed working with her on my home purchase.

Unfortunately, I never got to meet Janet Rose. Janet is probably a nice person. Received a few emails and voice mails from Janet. Janet Rose did not even show up to our final home walkthrough and our closing. When it was determined at our closing that the closing needed to resume on another day, absolutely no one from Redfin showed up to the second day of our closing. Linda Huynh was my original Redfin agent who did the great majority of the work. Linda Huynh negotiated many things on our behalf and pointed out things we wouldn't have noticed on our own. I was told that Redfin furloughed Linda Huynh because of COVID. I hope Redfin does the right thing and compensate Linda Huynh for all the hard work she performed representing us buying our home.
