Jo was personable and her recommendations on repairs and the inspection process were genuinely helpful — that part of the transaction went smoothly thanks to her guidance. Communication was the significant gap. Rather than including both of us, she'd often leave just one of us off email threads, which caused confusion about who knew what. More concerning, she frequently didn't pass along information the seller had shared with her unless we specifically asked — and since we didn't know what we didn't know, we missed things. I only learned the extent of this after speaking with the seller directly myself. Phone calls with her often felt rushed, and she seemed stretched thin throughout — understandable, but it affected how supported we felt. She also pushed Rocket Mortgage fairly heavily, which given Redfin's partnership with them, left us wondering how much of that was tailored advice versus a standard referral. We largely identified the property and drove the process ourselves, so having to also chase down basic seller communication made the experience feel like we could have navigated it without an agent. I'd recommend Jo for her technical instincts, but want future clients to go in knowing they may need to stay on top of communication themselves.

Jo was a wonderful agent. She expedited my Net Sheet right away and calculated my best selling price for my house. Her communication skills prevailed in negotiating an agreeable selling price and got me through closing, with her closing team, without a flaw. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to sell their home and as a bonus, the commission rate is real appealing for a seller.
