Our experience with Jonathan started out great. He was quick to respond to our questions and was able to get our home on the market within the agreed upon date. Things were quiet until the week before closing. We ran into issues where the buyer refused to assume the solar lease agreement upon closing and insisted we pay off the solar lease to the tune of $14K. As a realtor, he should have known to disclose the solar lease information in the realtor notes for the listing. The notes should have outlined that any interested buyer would have to accept and assume the lease upon signing the contract. Although the home came under contract in April (midst of the pandemic), I felt that we had to give up more than we needed to get the deal done. Saying that Jonathan is excellent would be an understatement. He was available at all times and worked diligently to ensure my house was constantly shown. When we started negotiating offers, Jonathan skillfully and vigorously advocated for my best interests. In the end, he closed a deal that would have fallen through with a less capable realtor. I cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough. Redfin is lucky to have such an excellent agent. I would happily refer him to anyone who asked.
