tl;dr Not your typical realtor. If there was a PhD for realtors, Josh is definitely a seasoned professor teaching in that category. As a first time home buyer, Josh is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure the buyer (myself) is making informed decisions. Whether it is the research of specific properties and their pros/cons, the knowledge of what drives property values, or the latest happenings around the beach cities, Josh proves himself to be a valuable asset and friend. This was my first time buying a property. It's the biggest purchase I've ever made the the process was very intimidating. Josh Stein-Sapir's expertise was so valuable! Josh knows his stuff! His knowledge about houses/apartments. What pitfalls to look out for. How things were built. Small things like noticing if the same counter top was used in the kitchen and bathroom to see if the contractor was trying to save money or design an amazing house. As first time home-buyers, there is no way would have even dreamed of getting this house, but Josh was the one who saw the opportunity, helped us negotiate, and ensured we were protected and informed every step of the way. His knowledge of not only the real estate market but also the financial and legal systems surrounding home-buying runs deeply nerdy, but is delivered with charm, honesty and humor. We worked with Josh on Both the purchase and the sale of our home in LA. We unexpectedly needed to relocate out of the state so it was a stressful and busy time for us. He made the process smooth and seamless. He coordinated everything efficiently, was present for everything and to top it off, sold our house quickly!
