Karissa helped my wife, Nancy, and I find and purchase a home for our retirement. She was excellent in every respect! We met her at nine different houses for tours, where Karissa well described the pros and cons of each place. She also traveled to Olympia and Bremerton to show us homes. Karissa encouraged us to add a sewer inspection to the inspection on the condominium we wanted, which helped us make a better decision. She got our offer to the seller at a moment's notice, advising us on how much to offer to secure the purchase, which resulted in the seller accepting our bid. Karissa also negotiated a price reduction because of some insulation improperly installed beneath the house's floors. I look at a lot of reviews before I decide to buy something or get a professional service, especially for something as important such as a real estate transaction. I chose Karissa Mallett in part because her online reviews were so complimentary. The reviews were right! My husband and I were exceedingly impressed with Karissa’s in-depth knowledge of the neighborhoods in and around Tacoma (ie, a 25-mile radius). She’s an excellent listener and quickly grasped which properties would appeal to us given our budget, taste, phase of life, etc. In this frenetic market, my husband and I appreciated Karissa’s practical advice and calming demeanor. She guided us through a sensible home purchase and kept us within our budget. I highly recommend Karissa.
