Caring, competent, consistent. Katy is the ideal agent. She is highly aware of market trends and able to predict best pricing and sales times. Her advice was spot on in a tumultuous market that took everyone else by surprise. She is a clear and responsive communicator. She takes advantage of modern technologies and uses most effective tools for the need, ie. she'll call, text or email based on what's most appropriate. Truly can't imagine better agent. Katy Wallace was the second agent. She was just as bad as Bita Salamat.
I had a collapsed lung during the offer process and Bita was extremely rude about this and also inept as she fumbled a multiple offer situation and gave away things in the first instance where they were to be used to negotiate a higher price.
Bita didn’t follow up and I was about to pull the listing from Redfin when they put Katy on it. Katy didn’t read the contracts that she was sending to me, wasn’t working in my best interests and three times asked me to lower the already offered price for the buyer despite her supposedly working for me.
Additionally she refused to send me the appraisal and lied about it.
Beware Redfin and their agents. You get what you pay for.

Helpful, thorough and caring on all aspects of the sale. Even when the stager drove me crazy, Katy kept me sane. Rational, fair suggestions always.. I trust Katy completely, and that's the most important thing to us.
Selling a family home, especially one you were born and raised in, is never an easy nor welcome task. I interviewed over 12 agents and brokers--no one felt right, no one had the questions and answers that resonated with me and no one took the time to find out about how I acquired the home, etc., until I met Katy. I immediately trusted her ethics and her expansive knowledge of all the in's and out's of real estate. She was extremely patient and when I said I'd need extra hand-holding since since selling my home would be extremely emotional for me she clearly heard me as she was accessible and sensitive through to COE. Katy was wonderful and I would definitely recommend her. She was very helpful in getting our house ready to put on the market and led us through every step when our house recently sold.
I was at a first birthday party for our friends' daughter the other weekend and singing Katy's and Redfin's praises. One thing I remember saying, and something I kept thinking throughout the Redfin process, was "I kept wondering where they were going to cut corners, but they never did". Super happy with the process, the amazing photography, and Katy's expertise even with our pesky neighbors!
Regarding the below question, I have no idea how I heard about Redfin. My wife and I have always used the app (preferring it over Zillow, etc.) and when the time came to sell our house we figured we'd interview Katy. Glad we did!

Katy was very professional the first we met and she gave a presentation. She was available via phone and email. Always answered our phone calls with questions and always gave great recommendations. She has great negotiations skills and well reputed among the local real estate agents !! She was instrumental in closing or home less than 30 days!! Katie's help was invaluable in helping me sell my home quickly and above asking price! She very professionally guided me to make some updates and changes that left to my own devices I would not have taken the time to do. Those changes really paid off when it came time to sell. I appreciated her style - guiding but not hovering, and she was able to help me handle some last-minute issues that arose so that the house was ready to go on the market at the planned time. Even in today's market, selling your home is a stressful undertaking. That's why you need Katy. She is professional but friendly at the same time, has a detailed knowledge of the local market and lenders and works tirelessly to make sure everything goes OK. Katy is one cool cucumber. She is obviously very experienced and has a very good eye for what buyers want. She was also very helpful in closing a very difficult deal with an incompetent buyer's agent.

This was a difficult sale with numerous issues due to the condition of the properly. Katy was on TOP OF EVERYTHING! Communicating, keeping me posted, educating me in some ways, reassuring, advising. The sale was also done long distance. As an out of state, anxious seller, I never had to be present at any moment during the sale process. Katy made it so much easier for me.
