She is the most effective, hardest working, congenial, and talented professional I have ever worked with. She helped me navigate difficult banking and loan obstacles with clarity by drawing upon her depth of experience negotiating bureaucracies and managing people who were sometimes overburdened with their own work. I always felt safe and protected by Laura; no matter the simplicity of my questions or the muddled confusion I presented to her, she always made decisions clear, and the consequences comprehensible. And during all this I felt respected as a buyer. Never did I feel like a source of income, or a anonymous figure. She was intimate and professional all at once. Most importantly, Laura always foregrounds the humane aspect of buying a home. She gets people, their strengths and their weaknesses, and finds ways to make contact comfortable.
