I had a really good purchasing experience :) Redfin has uniquely created a one stop shop in the housing market: Easy to access MLS listings, local agent representation and complete mortgage services. I was apprehensive to go with a Redfin agent at first. Mostly due to my lack of understanding of how the company operates. I’d thought of Redfin as only an MLS search engine company– so, my thought… are their agents competitive? Our Redfin agent, Maik Ruppert, was awesome! He is super easy to work with, courteous and professional. Considering the number of homes we toured, I will add VERY patient to the list. A few hiccups along the way with rejections of several offers made (I attribute to an early spring burst of buyers with over-asking price bids), but Maik saw us through and we ended up with the right home in a great location. Something to consider if you have a family with babies/children, Maik, along with his team, were not only always available to show us properties of interest, but even last-minute schedule changes didn’t seem to be a problem. Maik was always kind-hearted and said, no problem! The other big plus for me is that Maik returned every text and phone call promptly. If you are not committed to an agent, I would absolutely recommend giving Maik Ruppert a call.
