Mandy is unfamiliar with the materials she sent to her client. She did not read the draft listing agreement sent to me, which has a couple of addenda contain conflicts with the main contract. She tried very hard to have me sign the incorrect contract but as soon as the listing agreement was signed, she became completely unavailable, no response to text message or phone call for two days. The other issue is that she tends to over promise (before I signed the listing agreement) and under deliver. She missed the deadline for listing launch two times in a row.

Mandy was very professional and personable. The only issues we had were related to getting the house ready on a compressed schedule and not having a good discussion on the initial listing price. Other issues were due mainly to the constructs agents and clients have to work with under the Redfin business model. We were not able to get at or above the initial listing price as Redfin likes to advertise, of course there is no guarantee for this. In the end it did not seem much different from the traditional realtor experience. And that's fine as long as you have the right expectations going in.

There were some mis-steps at the beginning of our sales process with an Open House that we scheduled around which didn't happen and writing/marketing that was poorly executed and didn't give us confidence in Mandy's representation of our house. BUT....when our air conditioner broke an hour before closing, Mandy was STELLAR. She tracked down repair people as we were signing papers. She went to bat for us with the purchasing agent. She kept everyone calm, used calm words, assured everyone it would be taken care of....and continued to follow up through the evening until all was fixed.
