I was excited to use Redfin and ready for a little bit of roughing it compared to traditional realtors, but I was very disappointed. I thought the customer service was very poor and it was quite hard to get responses to important email inquiries at various stages in the process. While I am all in favor of an internet-based brokerage the customer service needs to be absolutely first rate and the brokers need to make themselves available and rapidly respond to client inquiries. It is not an experience I would be willing to go through again.
