I think he can be as "high touch" as a client would like, but I appreciated that he quickly determined how I wanted to work (very "low touch"!) and was as comfortable working with me in that way. We're both busy people but I never felt like I was just a task with Matt. He's just a genuinely nice, knowledgeable, low key person and I highly recommend him.

I'm very happy with Matt. Matt operates the best if you ask him for options instead asking him direct questions. If you ask a direct question, Matt will provide you with a correct direct answer. The problem here is that your question might be "siloed" to your vision of the solution and the answer won't be the best solution to your bigger problem. If you ask Matt about your options, you no longer restrict him to a specific answer, granting him freedom to express several solutions to your problem. This is where Matt shines really bright!

Matt was very accessible and helped us out with house tours and putting together our offers. We had an awkward position because we were shopping from another city and couldn't make many trips to see homes in person. He helped out by sending some videos of the homes we couldn't get to and meeting up with some family that was closer.
Once we got to the offer stage he got excited and really got on top of things to help drive our offers through. He worked with our lender to make sure the financing would go through. He worked with the inspections and listing agent to make sure we got some money for repairs.

Although Matt Jones is polite, I am unable to recommend him for anyone’s home buying needs. I submitted a strong offer, which was about $2,000 less than Matt’s recommended offer, on an Elk Grove house (located on Winding River Way) on the evening of Friday, March 11, 2016. After my offer was submitted, things quickly turned negative. On Saturday morning, Matt emailed me to let me know that he “just saw an offer come through on Redfin for Winding River.” The offer was from one of his associate’s clients and Matt didn't have any details.
