Matthew Marino was an absolute pleasure to work with, both as my selling agent, and in assisting me in buying a home. I really appreciated his insight, knowledge, expertise and common sense advice throughout the process. I would like to add that he showed great sensitivity and compassion when my daughter passed of cancer in between the selling of my home and its closing process. He smoothed every ripple that I encountered and even went so far as arranging my signing of closing documents in the midst of my making funeral arrangements in another state. He is to be commended for not only his talents as a realtor, but for his kindness and compassion as a very fine human being. I cannot recommend him highly enough and I will certainly use him again if I have to relocate.

Matt, it’s great to work with. We relocated from Iowa to North Carolina. We started with FaceTime tours until I was able to get to the area. We toured several houses until we found “the one”. Matt helped us through the process in this area, it’s different than the Midwest, so there was a little learning curve for us. Matt used his knowledge to help us get an accepted offer and ultimately close. There are a lot of options when it comes to a realtor, but you will not be disappointed when you choose Matt.

We feel very fortunate to have worked with Matt throughout our home buying process. He is incredibly knowledgeable and helped us with every question we had throughout the process. When viewing homes we never felt rushed or as though he wanted to sway us for or against a home. Matt was very patient with us, and left us feeling comfortable knowing he was working with us to find the absolute best fit, using feedback on each home to refine our search process. Matt was so patient as we looked for just the "right" home. He was very supportive and understanding, at one point saying "when it's The One, you'll know" because I started feeling guilty. He was great at picking up what was important to us, pointing out those things we liked AND didn't like in past homes! He didn't try to "sell up" a house we looked at, but followed our lead. In this way, I felt Matt had our best interest at heart and was not just trying to "sell a house." I really felt he wanted us to find the best house for us! He was always willing to dig around in the crawl spaces, nooks and crannies with me, and had honest feedback about areas that he knew were important to me.
