Two comments isn't enough for this guy. Truly THE WORST experience among the 3 times we were involved in the sale of a home. Thanks to Micheal we realized we were leaving our washer and dryer. Yeah we should have read the contract but we told him it had been 2 decades since the last time. His "hands off" approach in our opinion is just doing the minimum for the commission. In FACT it seemed he worked harder for the buyer. He failed in his fiduciary duty plain and simple. We also suspect he was downright dishonest on a couple of things. There is more but at this point all we want to do is warn others. Yeah Redfin is a reduced commission but we didn't get anything from him

I am a retired real estate agent and Mike was great to work with easy to work with he gave me the courtesy of one agent to another I needed the help of an agent that knew all the new rules and regs that have changed since I retired.

Michael was fantastic. He started by surprising me with the sales price. I was amazed how well the process went. He was always available and responsive. The photographer made my home look better than I’ve ever seen it. All up-front costs were handled by Redfin so it Wes on the market really quick. Mike showed me appreciation for all my effort to have the place ready for viewing. The first couple that toured the home made an offer over asking and ultimately bought the home. mike really knows the market and knows how to sell a house. Mike actually surpassed my expectations. We had a very good first meeting and he helped me to price my home perfectly. We were moving very quickly until COVID-19 kicked in and everything was almost stalled completely. Because we moved so quickly the house was staged and pictures were taken prior to the stay at home order. Potential buyers were able to view my home virtually which I believe made a distinct difference. Once people were able to venture out a bit a solid offer came in and the closing took no time at all. Mike even came to offer himself to help me move the last remaining items just before the closing took place.

Our first meeting with Michael in February 2020 was the catalyst for successfully selling our home during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, there were zero homes for sale in our neighborhood. We were on the fence, but it was Michael's confidence and encouragement that convinced us we could achieve "first-seller" status. We worked quickly to de-clutter and stage our home, and found a buyer just as social distancing made in-person touring of homes impossible. I'll be forever grateful for his advice during escrow and through closing when it was essential to stay in sync with our buyer.

We've sold with Redfin before and bought with Redfin, so we've worked with different Redfin teams, and had high hopes with Redfin again. We also knew that our property would be for a specific buyer (either single or weekend property home). Michael started strong in the first couple of months. He suggested the initial listing price the marketing to get our home ready. However as the the months passed, we felt that our response time with Michael dwindled and we felt like it was pulling teeth to get him to be a bit more communicative and to help drive more interest on our home. Michael is great agent. For the service he provided at the 1% listing fee, I felt like we got the quality of care and attention as paying 2.5-3%. The experience at the end day of the day isn’t exactly at the same as the traditional approach, but the savings can’t be beat, plus he is fun!

We were reluctant going with a brand new Redfin agent, but Michael listened to us and got the job done. He’s a good communicator and is responsive and was helpful in running interference with some high maintenance buyers. We got $100k over our asking price (which we set) and saved 20k on commissions. Our house didn’t require much work, and if your the type of sellers who don’t need a lot of hand-holding then Redfin is for you. The photos were fantastic and having them online 3 weeks prior to our listing date is likely what lead to us getting 2 offers on the first day and accepting an offer on the 4th day. We also bought with Redfin 7 years ago, so we knew what to expect and it all worked out.
