Definitely great specialist. To whoever works with Stuart I’d recommend ask him all the questions you need to know. Stuart is sharp in respond, at 99% times picks up a phone and also replies text within an hour or two. Stuart is very responsible in actions and communication with title companies and sellers’ agents, also in preparing papers to sign. Even if you’re a cash buyer I’d recommend to do cash appraisal in the beginning.

Stuart did a great job helping me finding a place and guiding me through the paperwork process. However, I had a bad experience with my lander in getting the loan approval, resulting in a long delay for the closing. The sellers were also working with Redfin and took advantage of my situation to charge me a 100-dollar-per-day late fee for 5 weeks, which I was obligated to pay. Nobody was capable of defending my interests, since Redfin was just interested in closing the deal at any cost (in this case, my costs). I recommend Stuart, but not Redfin.

Stuart was extremely accomodating of our schedules, and frequent questions! He is a super friendly guy, and we thought overall he did a great job. As customers who tended to asks lists of questions, we really appreciated it when he was able to respond to all of our questions specifically and individually. In retrospect, as first time home buyers, it would have been helpful to have some more detailed information up front about the process of negotiation, closing, etc--but we were also not clear with Stuart about what we didn't know. As home-brewers we were really touched when Stu brought us a delicious microbrew to the closing--and we wish him the best of luck with his newest addition! : )

Stuart was a FANTASTIC agent!! We toured at least 20 homes and every time he was incredibly prepared, with printouts of the listings and even an electronic tape measure so we could be sure the furniture would fit! He has the patience of a saint, because I am high maintenance when shopping for such a big investment. He was always knowledgable about the area, and answered every email very quickly. I reccomend Stuart to EVERYONE I know who is looking for a new home in DC!!!

We would definitely recommend Stu (and the whole Redfin experience)! Stu has a laid back, easy going personality and it really helped that we never felt pressured at all during the process. We never had issues booking our home tours and he was willing to bring us back to houses we saw previously in the day for comparison. He has good insights into what we should look for in a home and knowledge of renovations/repairs. It was a lot of fun to walk through houses with him and just talk through our likes/dislikes of the house and potential renovations. Once it came down to putting down an offer, Stu was very quick and responsive and made the whole process so easy and smooth. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better agent to work with - we're excited to be moving into our first home!
