You're going to love Tony, he's very personable and very experienced. He was much more experienced than the buyer's agent in my transaction. The buyer would call Tony instead of his own agent! Tony is a modern guy so if you don't do texts and emails he's not for you (but why would you be using Redfin then?). While Tony didn't change my perception of the real estate industry (who actually enjoys the telephone game from you to your agent, the other agent, the other party, and back?), he was professional and thorough. He prides himself on being available - when he first came to meet us he himself was moving that weekend, yet still got things done. He responded while on vacation and during other things that came up, where I would reasonable expect him not to respond. I would use Tony again!

Unfortunately Tony and I got off to a very bad start. I received an email stating he would not list our property unless we listed it at 399k. We were under the gun so we decided to go forward. We wanted to list it at 424,900. We received an offer of 420k on sat of open house. We were told to wait till sun to see if we received any other bids. Later that night we were told we should take the 420 offer or risk losing it. I had an hour to decide he had said. I tried to contact my dad but had to wait till the next morning to see my dad. My dad said let’s except it. When I called tony to except he told me offer was gone. Good thing it was because we ended up getting two offers at 440k. We accepted and still feel we could of got more. When we met Tony we were very discouraged by the whole house buying process. We were looking for a home in the 350k range in a location accessible to Boston and Burlington. We were beginning to think such a home didn't exist and we were just spinning our wheels.
The first thing Tony did was reassure us that such a place did exist and that we were going to find it! He suggested locations to look and sent us examples of places on the market in our range.
