I'm a first-time buyer. I had no idea what I was doing, which I believe was the first thing I told Vivie. She started right in with informed explanations of what I would need to do to get the home-procurement process started -- things about which I would have had no idea otherwise. I did *not* think the time between beginning the process and actually living in my new place would be basically a month. During that time, Vivie learned what I was looking for, found several candidate properties, arranged viewings. all the while explaining what the ongoing process was going to entail and seeing to details (inspections, coordinating repairs) I never would have anticipated. Vivie also explained in depth how the financing aspect of the process worked, and referred me to a lender who was able to efficiently get my loan arranged. Also, she kept me apprised of and guided me through the required interactions with the title company. Even after I was handed the keys to the new place, Vivie remained available to answer questions I had related to the new community and the move-in process. Obviously, home buying is stressful for anybody, but I think anybody going through the process would have their stress and uncertainty alleviated by having Vivie on board.
