About this home
Located on two acres along a private road in Haiku, this North Shore property offers privacy, ocean views, and a variety of indoor and outdoor living spaces. The immaculately maintained, 880-square-foot, two-bedroom, one-bath main home is complemented by two additional structures offering flexible space for creative pursuits. Expansive outdoor areas provide room to relax, entertain, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, while additional agricultural structures offer ample storage for equipment, tools, and recreational gear. The property is serviced by a County water meter and septic system, adding to its functionality and convenience. With its spacious grounds, versatile improvements, and convenient Haiku location, this property presents a unique opportunity to enjoy Maui's rural lifestyle.
Ulumalu Ahupua`a, located between Haiku Road and the slopes of Haleakalā, is a rural and agricultural Haiku-Pauwela neighborhood with wide pasture views and a trade-wind, upcountry feel. The area reads as a patchwork of small farms, gulches, and long driveways, with homes ranging from plantation-era cottages to newer hillside builds. The neighborhood’s character concentrates around the Haiku Road and Kokomo Road junction, where a low-key cluster of local storefronts and coffee counters sets the daily rhythm. Colleen’s at the Cannery, Haiku Marketplace, and the Haiku Community Center act as familiar gathering points for meals, errands, and events. Life here tracks the landscape—green after rain, sunlit by late afternoon, and framed by distant ocean glimpses. Roadside fruit stands and garden gates reinforce a working-country atmosphere rather than a resort one.
