Feel a part of nature from the warmth of your kitchen. This house is simply incredible. The soaring ceilings of the 2 story kitchen/family room area are topped with amish wood beams, but your eyes will constantly be drawn to the wall of windows that frame nature as a constantly changing work of art. The kitchen cabinets and drawers are all "no slam" and made of Cortizonic. The serenity of the home spills out to the deck where you can soak year round in the hot tub watching the moon rise above the horizon. The gardens in the spring time are overflowing with gorgeous perennials stocked by Harvest Moon Flower Farm, and raised garden beds complete with a rain barrel are awaiting your chosen crops. The 9 acres belonging to this home are surrounded by the peacefulness of 500 acres of state forest. You will never want to leave, but if you choose to do so you are a mere 35 miles from Indianapolis International Airport or a $20 Uber to the Bloomington Square.

FR
Forest Reserve District
The character of the Forest Reserve (FR) District is defined as that which is primarily intended for the preservation of forests, recreational areas, parks and greenways, limited agricultural uses and very, very low density single family residential uses. Its purposes are to permit limited single family residential development on very large lots, to discourage the development of residential subdivisions and nonresidential uses, to protect environmentally sensitive areas, such as floodplain and steep slopes and to maintain the character of the surrounding neighborhood. Development in the FR District is hindered by extreme topography, poor access and the availability of few or no public services. Therefore, the number of uses permitted in the FR District is limited. Some uses are conditionally permitted. The conditions placed on these uses are to insure their compatibility with the low-density residential and public open space uses.
