PRICE REDUCTION!!! Situated on over 6 acres of wooded backyard privacy, yet easily accessible road frontage on Solomons Island Road, this all brick rancher offers a multitude of possibilities for the new owner. Home is sited well off the highway with long, circular driveway. Built in the late 60’s, there’s 2,097 sq. ft. on the main level, with an additional 2,097 sq. ft. in the unfinished basement, an attached two car garage, and two separate additional garages/workshops on the property. Home needs updating throughout and is sold strictly “as is, ” but is in good condition overall. The main level features a spacious living room with wood burning fireplace, along with a separate family room with additional second fireplace and large picture window, offering loads of natural light. There’s a separate formal dining room, and the kitchen is larger than expected, with an abundance of kitchen cabinets and space for a table. The owner’s suite features a full bath with tub/shower combo and vanity with two sinks. Adjacent to the family room is an enclosed breezeway between the home and garage featuring jalousie windows and brick walls, and exit to the backyard brick patio. The lower level basement features an above grade side-door exit, along with four, full size windows. Two tax records exist for the property; with 3.26 acres where home is sited, along with a separate 3.0 acre lot. Interior basement waterproofing just completed.
*Taxable value of land and structures on it ("additions") is determined regularly by local assessors and does not affect market price.

RCD
Rural Community District
The Rural Community District RCD is intended to maintain a mix of farms, forests, and residential uses, retain historic and scenic areas, and protect watersheds, fish, and wildlife. These goals are to be achieved in part through the mandatory clustering of subdivisions on parcels 30 acres or greater in size, with a minimum of 60 percent of the subdivision to be permanently preserved as open space. It is the intent to maintain a low residential density within this district while still allowing for some use of Transferable Development Rights TDRs. To avoid drawing traffic onto rural roads commercial uses are limited.
