Homes for sale
This home's estimate is 1% lower than the average sale price ($500K) of 3 comparable homes.
Lots of space and generous sized rooms, including a very large entry foyer, living room and family room. Bedrooms are good-sized. The large, recently remodeled kitchen shows very well, with pretty cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless...
appliances, newer ceramic tile. Attractive, medium-dark, wide-planked laminate flooring throughout most of home, apparently laid over the original hardwood flooring (which is still apparently still underneath), the original hardwood is still used in two of the bedrooms and is worn in some areas. The big master bathroom could use some TLC, and updating, but has a jetted roman tub and lots of potential. Big first floor laundry/mudroom room. (no basement.) Front yard is level, then slopes down to a somewhat level and sunny, fenced-in backyard area. The wood on the large back deck is in rough shape, but overlooks the scenic rolling countryside neighborhood. There is another deck by the in-ground pool. Home and landscaping would benefit from some TLC and additional updates, but has great bones. Intermittent, minor road noise heard outside, but not noticeable indoors.

Zoning
RCD
Rural Community District
The Rural Community District RCD is intended to maintain a mix of farms, forests, and residential uses, retain historic and scenic areas, and protect watersheds, fish, and wildlife. These goals are to be achieved in part through the mandatory clustering of subdivisions on parcels 30 acres or greater in size, with a minimum of 60 percent of the subdivision to be permanently preserved as open space. It is the intent to maintain a low residential density within this district while still allowing for some use of Transferable Development Rights TDRs. To avoid drawing traffic onto rural roads commercial uses are limited.
