Arguably one of the most desirable lots in East Brandywine Township. A long private drive leads you to a stunningly beautiful, private, and secluded 2.6 acres. The grounds are mostly open and flat, with a gentle rolling hill in the back. The barn onsite was originally built as a stable with three horse stalls, but can easily be used for contractor storage, picnics, and/or outdoor parties as the current owners have done. This property does however still allow for the keeping of up to two horses onsite. The home itself features a first level that includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, and family room with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. There is also a half bath on the first level, and an out cove that could be converted to a main floor laundry area. On the second floor there are three roomy bedrooms, two full baths, and another room that serves as an office or nursery. The large master bedroom provides a full bath and two walk in closets. Although the house is comfortably and absolutely livable as-is, the new owners will undoubtedly want to do some updating. If that updating includes expansion, there is plenty of room here to grow in all directions. This is a fixer upper opportunity just waiting for someone to create the home of their dreams.

R-2
Residential District
The R-2 Residential District is intended to enable the development of stable, well-designed residential neighborhoods with single-family detached dwellings. Allowable densities are considered appropriate to assure compatibility with the existing pattern of development, the limitations on sewage facilities and water supply, and the limited capacity of the road network. Residential densities, dwelling types, policies regarding sewage facilities, and policies limiting the use of central water supply are established in this district as means to achieve this objective and as appropriate components of the overall pattern of land use that is provided throughout the Township; they are intended to provide for orderly growth and utilization of natural resources in accordance with the Township Comprehensive Plan. Clustering of single-family dwellings is offered and encouraged as a site design mechanism to further the resource conservation objective. A portion of the R-2 Residential District adjoining the TND-1 Traditional Neighborhood Development District is provided with the option to utilize the terms of the TND-2 Overlay District regulations contained in Section 399-30B of this chapter.
