Welcome to 396 King Rd. 36 acres in bucolic Bucks County. Travel up the tree lined driveway to the home that I would describe as Arts & Crafts style. Cedar shake roof with large projected eves and soffits. A grand front entrance framed by substantial columns. Entrance foyer is center hall colonial with the living room to the left and dining room to the right. Living room has a wood burning fireplace and amazing views into the distance. Perfect for reading a book or receiving guests. Chefs will love the large eat-in gourmet kitchen with vaulted ceiling and adjoining butler’s pantry. The family room addition is grand with beamed ceilings. The gas fireplace separates the family room from the game room, currently home to the pool table and shuffleboard table. The entrance foyer from the garage and rear driveway. First floor master suite with ample closet space and vaulted ceilings share the same long views as the living room. The fourth bedroom is also on this floor adjacent to a 2nd full bathroom and the room currently being used as a home office. The combination of these three spaces would transform it into a gracious first floor in-law suite. Just add a door in the hallway, which will then make the 2nd full bath a part of the suite. Remove the built-in cabinetry from the home office and there is more than enough room for a living room and an eat-in kitchenette. The second floor has the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, a full hall bathroom and an open loft area. Basement has a cork floor and would be a great home exercise area. Whole house generator for peace of mind! Detached metal building is heated and has been used as a workshop. Easily fit the red convertible in this building. Amazing pool area with hot tub and fire pit is great for entertaining in the summer. The property is under Act 319 Agricultural Use, which benefits the owner with reduced real estate tax. The fields are farmed by a local farmer who pays a nominal fee to do so. Wonderful secluded property just minutes from Lake Galena and Doylestown Boro.
