IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO WEAR BOOTS FOR WET AND MUD. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. Escape to the tranquility of this charming log cabin home, nestled on a private, 2+ acre lot near the end of a quiet dead-end street. A true oasis of serenity, this property offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. Step into the cozy living room, where a coal stove warms the space, creating a welcoming atmosphere that flows into the dining area. The kitchen, boasting a large pantry and convenient access to the rear yard, invites you to savor the joys of indoor-outdoor living. Down the hall, discover a generously sized bathroom and three bedrooms, offering a peaceful retreat for rest and relaxation. The basement unveils additional living space with a laundry room and two bedrooms. Apart from the bedrooms, the basement remains a canvas for customization—an unfinished space with a concrete floor and a wood stove, allowing your imagination to shape its future. The property is adorned with a detached 2-car garage featuring a second floor and a side door, adding both functionality and character to this enchanting retreat. A u-shaped driveway wraps around the back of the home, seamlessly tying into the main driveway and parking area, ensuring ease of access and ample space for guests. While this log cabin radiates charm, it presents an opportunity for personalization. The home requires a few new doors, trim work, some kitchen flooring, and repairs to two wall holes. The garage, a canvas for potential, needs rehabbed (roof, doors, second floor decking). Embrace the prospect of transforming this charming retreat into a personalized haven, where rustic charm meets the promise of renewal. An inspection of the septic tank was completed om 1/26/24 and it is great working order. A 50yr roof was put on in 2007. Home is being sold As Is, however, seller is including a One Year Americas Preferred Home Warranty.

RC
Resource Conservation District
In accordance with the planning goals of the Honey Brook Township and Borough Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan and the purpose statements and community development objectives set forth in Article I of this Chapter, the RC-Resource Conservation District is established to help protect the Township's areas characterized by the presence of sensitive natural features; support agriculture and forestry; and allow for rural-residential living opportunities. This district includes much of the Township's woodlands and steeply sloped lands, as well as lands permanently protected by conservation easement. The regulations set forth herein are intended to achieve the following specific purposes: To minimize incompatible land uses and manage their potential impacts on the district's steeply sloped and forested lands, and high groundwater recharge areas of the Brandywine watershed.; To provide areas for low-density, rural residential living opportunities without the need for supporting public water or sewer services.; To ensure new development is designed to be optimally consistent with the sloped and wooded features of the Welsh Mountain and Barren Hills sectors of the Township.; To support Honey Brook Township's land preservation policies contained within its adopted Land Preservation Plan.; To enable potential residential development to be transferred to other, more appropriate locations within the Township and Honey Brook Borough through the use of this Chapter's transferable development rights provisions.
