About this home
Took a walk with the sellers on a brisk April morning. We stood at an overlook of the bog and heard a symphony of bird conversations. Our presence was of no concern to these chattering fowl. The land forms a peninsula into an unnamed marsh with bog attributes, some open water pools, and attracting many animals. The parcel is partially cleared with slash left for chipping. As we made our way to the rear of the lot I noticed a few ideal areas to build a home. Some higher elevations for views than others. But once we reached the point I decided, if it were mine, the house would go here with marsh on three sides and only the sound of wind and animals to interrupt my private country space.
