Circa 1855 near the village of Newport on 80 acres. This renovated historic brick house makes a grand presentation as you approach in the driveway, and the inside does not disappoint. There you will find a wide two story center hall with fireplaces in each of the four rooms on the first floor, and in each of the four bedrooms on the second floor. Beautiful woodwork in all rooms, and original wide heart pine floors all over. Heavenly views from every window. Entertain your guests on the back brick patio surrounded by an Irish design stone wall. There is a fenced raised bed vegetable garden, and a quiet walled-in Secret Garden. The solar array which covers the hay barn roof provides a large part of the electrical needs of the farm. Annually taxes $3134.

AGRICULTURAL AND FORESTAL DISTRICTS
General Agriculture District
The General Agriculture District is intended to allow an area to be devoted to agricultural use; to conserve, protect, and encourage the development, improvement and preservation of agricultural land for the production of food and other agricultural products; to retain major areas of natural ground cover for conservation purposes; and to retain forests; The principal purposes of this district may be accomplished by maintaining the existing agricultural lands and preventing the encroachment of incompatible land uses, while allowing development to occur at a reasonable density; Non-farm residents should recognize that in this district they are located in an agricultural environment where the right to farm and the right to practice forestry have been established as public policies; This district is also intended to minimize the demand for unanticipated public improvements and services, such as public sewer and water, by reducing development densities and discouraging large-scale development.
