About this home
Loved and enjoyed, this home is on the market for the first time in a generation! If you are looking for that very special feel of privacy, but not too far from town, this fits the bill. With a mixture of woods, open rolling meadow, stone walls and lovely local views, you will find coming home a treat. Love to cook?. .. .. winter. .. .Light a fire and invite your guests to snuggle at the fireplace creating good conversation while you work about the kitchen. .. summer. .. throw open the windows (one over the sink of course) and let the meadow breezes sing as you create the song. Love to entertain?. The formal dining and huge living room are a perfect compliment for any gathering! Looking for the Good Life? Cross country ski on your own snow capped meadow under the crisp winter moon, or lie in the still summer evening counting the stars. Garden space galore, wildlife aplenty, but. .. .the Co-op and Moca Joe's are just around the corner! A fun must see for all the Vermont good things.

Rural District
The Rural District encompasses land primarily in the western, upland portion of Brattleboro, which features large tracts of undeveloped woodlands, working farmland and very-low density residential development. This land is not served by municipal water and sewer or by roads that are capable of accommodating heavy traffic, and extending or upgrading infrastructure in this district is strongly discouraged. The purpose of this district is to protect these remote and relatively inaccessible rural lands from fragmentation, development and undue environmental disturbance by maintaining a very low-density settlement pattern and large tracts of working lands or natural areas in accordance with the policies of the Brattleboro Town Plan.
