About this home
Fabulous opportunity to build your own dream home in the very popular Baker Rim gated community which includes tennis courts, miles of walkable roads, clubhouse, and seasonal pool.. This view lot features a flat building site set atop a mild grade allowing for vistas of Mt. Baker and Church Mt. while providing a measure of privacy and elevation from the street and surrounding homes. The current owner has painstakingly created an architectural rendering, site plan, and proof of concept for a 3 bed 2.5 bath home that will take full advantage of the views and maintains a contemporary craftsman feel that should prove to be timeless. With a survey, and 3 bed septic installed, permitting should be a snap. Just 30 mins from Mt Baker Ski area!

Rural Residential District
The purpose of the Residential Rural District is to maintain the low density rural residential character of the areas designated as rural neighborhoods or rural communities on the Comprehensive Plan map and implement the Comprehensive Plan policies that define the rural character in Whatcom County in accordance with RCW 36.70A.070(5). In addition, it is the intent of this district to provide the opportunity for the development of building sites which maximize the efficient use of both energy and land by allowing an option for clustering of residential lots.
