“High School Musical” star Zac Efron just listed his Los Angeles home for $2.849 million. The 2,400-square-foot estate has two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The modern manse features walls of glass that open up for a nice indoor-outdoor flow. The home also has concrete floors and an infinity pool. Efron purchased the home in 2008 for $2.35 million following the success of the “High School Musical” movie.
The 26-year-old star is moving on from teen dramas; he recently presented at the Oscars and just finished filming “Neighbors,” a comedy with Seth Rogan. He’s also moving on to the Hollywood Hills. In October, he purchased a 5,600-square-foot mansion for $3.995 million, in the same neighborhood as many other celebrities, including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Eva Mendes, and Christina Ricci.
His new home has five bedrooms and was built in 1964. Although it has state-of-the-art electronic capabilities, it maintains a 1960s vibe. Amenities include a chef’s kitchen, spa-like master bath, gym, pool, spa and a wine cellar. The home is situated down a long, private driveway, and has a security system that will ensure Efron has plenty of privacy. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room take advantage of the views. The expansive walk-in closet has a manly vibe, with dark wood cabinets. The property also has a guest house, so Efron’s brother and parents can visit for a long weekend in Hollywood Hills.
It’s clear Efron has an affinity for modern homes! What do you think of the design?
