“Rumour Has it” that Adele bought a $9.5 million house in Beverly Hills—and the rumors are true. The famed English singer and songwriter bought the 6,597-square-foot mansion in April in the Hidden Valley area of Beverly Hills. The Hidden Valley mansion may have cost a pretty penny, but the house was originally listed for $9.9 million, which means Adele can now add savvy negotiator to her long list of skills.
2016 has been a wonderful year so far for the singer, with her album “25” breaking the record for most albums to sell in a single week, a sold out tour and now a brand new house next to her BFF Jennifer Lawrence. We’re wondering if Adele bought the house to be closer to her best friend?
Adele’s traditional estate boasts four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a library, two formal living rooms (with room for a piano, obviously) and a bonus room to store all of her Grammy’s. It’s apparent the singer considered her three-year-old son when buying this house, as it comes with an outdoor train set and a tree house—basically a kid’s dream. Our favorite part has to be the stunning backyard with a BBQ, swimming pool, gazebo and a dog run. Her backyard is perfect for hosting her whole squad!
The median home price in Beverly Hills is $4.9M, but with all of the amazing amenities and of course the neighboring celebs, which include Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, it’s no wonder Adele was willing to drop $9.5 million for her new home.
