While these cultural institutions deserve their spotlight, we love the many pockets of public space throughout the neighborhood, like the plaza featuring a Calder sculpture across the street from us. Perfect for a pizza picnic.
You’re steps away from Printers Row, one of the city’s most beautiful historic districts. With roots dating back to the 1880s, the area was once America’s printing hub. Once the printers moved out, the buildings were repurposed as residential lofts beginning in the 1970s. Today, it serves as a quaint neighborhood with tree-lined streets, just minutes away from the hustle & bustle of the Loop. The area’s main drag, Dearborn St, is home to several resident-owned small businesses, including retailers, cafes, restaurants, and bars.
This neighborhood offers an incredible mix of city energy and walkability. Spend an afternoon exploring independent restaurants, grabbing coffee, visiting galleries and museums, and ending the evening at one of the many rooftop bars or parks overlooking the city skyline.

We love the close proximity to landmarks such as the lakefront trail, Grant Park, Mag Mile, as well as the Field Museum, Planetarium, and Shedd Aquarium – plus we also have so many wonderful locally run small businesses, as well.
