re_wozhouse04.jpgSteve Wozniak’s former estate is perhaps one of the most unusual estates in the South Bay; featuring 6 bedrooms, 7 1/2 bathrooms, a pet hotel complete with air conditioning and a watering system, a cave designed by the California Academy of Sciences for Wozniak complete with stalactites and stalagmites, an arcade, and not surprisingly – an iPod dock in every room.

Adding to these amenities, 300 Santa Rosa Drive has been made even more distinctive by the innovations added by developer Larry Willard and architects Avi Agasi and Amnon Levy.

Using mostly organic materials, the team redesigned the 7100 square foot home with curves to blend with the shape of the Los Gatos mountains surrounding it – and with more windows to allow the occupants to enjoy them.   Light was said to have been the guiding force behind the redevelopment efforts.  Skylights, picture windows, and stained glass windows are said to be abundant in the restored mansion.

Photos of this historic palace show it to be truly magnificent, and lacking no modern luxury!
