Ultimately, we ended up buying a for sale by owner property and knowing that Cheryl had our back made us confident in moving forward with the unconventional sales process. During the whole process, Cheryl made sure that we (and the seller since they did not have an agent) were always on top of what we needed to do and when. She helped us by directing us to the right neighborhoods, negotiating with the sellers on the features we wanted and interest rate shopping. When we decided to go with a different lender, Cheryl helped us get our appraisal fee back from the earlier lender. She is very personable and approachable, which placed us at ease as we were first time home buyers.
