I have worked with many Full Price Brokers/Agents in the past and I have to tell you that working with Dana and Redfin was amazing. You get all the service (scratch that) you get more service than the traditional brokers at a lower cost. We are also buying a house using Dana and Redfin and you get money back. It's really the best thing to happen to Real Estate. The business model is old and in need of something new and Redfin has brought that to the market place.

It is hard to put into words the level of my appreciation for Dana's knowledgeable and professional assistance in selling my home (but I will try). There was a roller-coaster feel to the process because the house fell out of escrow as the buyer was unable to remove the contingency to deposit earnest money into escrow even though I have them an extra two weeks to do it. Dana was extremely helpful and with patience and empathy that she showed, I was able to relist the house, and shortly after the house was back in escrow and that time, it closed a week early on Feb 21. For example, we had to move two weeks before the house closed, and Dana made sure to take the last round of trash out, water our lawn, and just generally watch over everything in our absence. We were first time buyers, so we put Dana to the test! She was a pleasure to work with, easy to reach by phone or email, and made every accommodation to help us to see homes on our timeline. She offered good advice on the negotiation process and helped us "pick our battles" when it came to the request for repairs. Also, when an oversight was made in the contingency process, she worked with Redfin management to correct the error to our benefit. Very responsive! We could have used more hand-holding as first-time buyers. For example, for our offers, Dana wouldn't give us a number; instead, we made our best guess and she told us if it was "good" or "competitive". There are a lot of terms and procedures that we were unfamiliar with, but all we had to do was ask and Dana would explain them. Once we were in escrow, Dana was indispensable.
