Heather Bault served as our agent during the purchase of our condo. She was very friendly, open and kind. She did a good job assisting in rather hard moving process ( she found a qualified inspector, and moving company). Heather responded promptly to our requests. Bun unfortunately we have to mention a problem we faced after moving in. The home inspection revealed issues with the AC. The seller was contractually obligated to have it repaired. Instead of performing the repairs, the seller submitted a report from their contractor stating only that the AC engine was operational (i.e., it turned on and off). Heather deemed that the contractual condition had been met and did not suggest conducting a follow-up inspection to verify the AC's cooling performance. We think it was her mistake. She failed to notice that the report merely asserted that the engine was running but did not confirm that the unit was actually cooling the air. After moving into the house, we discovered that the air conditioner was not cooling at all. According to a report from a contractor we hired, the unit was completely worn out and beyond repair. We were forced to replace it immediately with a new system at a cost of $10,000. We believe that the seller committed fraud, and that their agent, Chad Osborne, was complicit in the scheme.
