Heather Bault served as our agent during the purchase of our condo. She was very friendly, open and kind. She did a good job assisting in rather hard moving process ( she found a qualified inspector, and moving company). Heather responded promptly to our requests. Bun unfortunately we have to mention a problem we faced after moving in. The home inspection revealed issues with the AC. The seller was contractually obligated to have it repaired. Instead of performing the repairs, the seller submitted a report from their contractor stating only that the AC engine was operational (i.e., it turned on and off). Heather deemed that the contractual condition had been met and did not suggest conducting a follow-up inspection to verify the AC's cooling performance. We think it was her mistake. She... Show More

Thank you for your feedback. I truly understand how frustrating and stressful it was to discover the AC issue after moving into your home, especially with such a significant replacement cost involved.
Throughout the transaction, I worked hard to advocate for you and to ensure the inspection concerns were addressed appropriately. When the HVAC issue came up during inspections, the seller provided documentation from a licensed contractor stating the system was operational. Based on the documentation provided by the seller and their contractor, the contractual repair requirement appeared to have been satisfied at that time.
After you later discovered the system was not cooling properly, I continued trying to help by following up with contractors and requesting written statements regarding the condition of the unit so you would have documentation available should you decide to pursue legal action against the seller or any involved parties.
I would never intentionally allow a client to move forward knowing a major system was not functioning properly, and I’m very sorry this situation occurred. I genuinely cared about helping make your move and purchase process as smooth as possible, and I appreciate the opportunity I had to work with you.

We were so lucky to have found Heather - she was more than an agent. She was a full partner in what turned out to be a short, but intense, home sale/new purchase. She was never too busy to take a call or arrange a meeting and was unflappable throughout the process. We also developed a friendship with her and hope to have an ongoing connection - she was just a sweetheart.
